MAKING HISTORY, MAKING MONEY

Making money while making history quite essentially sums up the

 second semester of the 2008-2009 school year for twenty two of

 Lake Highland Prep’s finest seniors. The enterprising partners,

 along with Chairman Ameritus Mr. Vander Lugt and Chairman

 Mr. Mark Hayes, makes up the second ever Entrepreneurship

 class at Lake Highland Prep, and the first ever in the nation. 

With Chris Munro as CEO, Prashant C. Raju as CIO, Bilal Shaukat

as CFO, Tatum Drazen as COO, Haley Bonus as CMO, and 

Gurdane Bhutani as CCO the experience has become much more 

than just another class for the 22 shareholders. A business plan 

has been written and marketing schemes are being put into action 

in order to get the public involved in the company’s exciting new 

venture. Money is being raised and borrowed and if all goes 

according to plan, will soon to be rolling in. Bank accounts will be 

opened, stocks will be distributed, and countless board meetings 

(not only have already been held, but also) will be held. Lake 

Highland Entrepreneurs II, LLC, or Lake Highland Marketing 

started as a class of eager students, and has grown into an exciting 

new business of a product that was created by Lake Highland 

Entrepreneurs, LLC. Perhaps more astonishing than all this is the 

fact that the students are accomplishing this in the 

groundbreaking span of an eighteen week long semester. The 

product that they are marketing, a guidebook to teach new 

entrepreneurs the skills and knowledge they need to successfully 

start and run their own business and how to live the lifestyle of an 

entrepreneur, is being sold across the world in several different 

forms. What these students are doing is nothing short of 

remarkable. They’re selling, in a sense, an autobiographical 

account of Lake Highland Entrepreneurs, LLC’s own 

entrepreneurial success as high school upperclassmen, truly 

history in the making. In the near future, an interactive DVD will 

be available to purchase, which will be an account of Lake 

Highland Marketing's journey as a marketing team. Stay tuned
